2 Corinthians 9:7
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Thank you for your continued faithful giving.
There are 3 ways that you can continue to give during this time.
1. You are still able to send a check to the church office via mail. Although the office is closed the mail is still being picked up daily. The tithes and offerings will be safely stored until they are counted and deposited.
2. You can utilize the online giving option available through the website https://trinityef.org/give/
3. You are now able to give via text messaging. This is just as secure as our online giving portal and is run through the same program. To do this, just text “give” to 440-987-1984. Once you do this, you will receive a reply with a secure registration link. This link will take you to a secure registration portal to be completed. Once you have completed this registration you will receive a confirmation sent to your email. Anyone who utilizes this service will have all their giving linked to their account with the church for tax purposes. This will only happen the first time you use the service. Once you have used it, your mobile number will be linked your account with the church and from there you simply need to text “give” to the number provided. We understand that this is new and can feel a bit intimidating to some, but we are continually trying to look for ways to stay connected and continue to do ministry together as the body of Christ.
Dear Trinity Evangelical Free Church family,
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic that is facing our country, we are not currently able to meet together regularly for our normal services. One of the areas where the church could be impacted is in the area of giving. Before we go any further, we want to express that we recognize fully and understand that many of you are going to be placed in difficult financial situations as so many businesses are being forced to close or suspend operations for the near future. We are praying that Lord will provide for your needs during this time.
It is with a spirit of humility that we write to you to remind you that just as you will still have expenses to cover and bills to pay during this time, it is no different for the operation of Trinity. We would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to continue to place your trust in God’s provision. One way to do this is to continue to tithe to the church to support the ministry of the Gospel during this time. We will continue, along with the staff, to reach out and minister to the Trinity family, the community, and our missionaries in whatever way we can. This will inevitably look different in the coming weeks than it has in the past. To do this, we are trusting the Lord to stir the hearts of His people to continue to trust Him and give.
1 Chronicles 29:14
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
In Christ,
Pastor Chris and the Elders
