Below is an update from Pastor Chris and the Elders notifying us that Trinity’s “physical” church building will be closed at least until May 1st. We want to stress the “physical” building ONLY! We want God’s Glory to shine brighter than before all this “social distancing.” We know God is NEVER distant. Psalm 145 speaks of His his glory and in verse 18 it says that, “the LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”
So to continue ministering to our Trinity Family and our community, we have provided online ways to keep connected by video recording and putting Pastor Chris’ sermons on 3 different platforms as well as Daily Devotions written or recorded by Pastor Chris, Pastor Vern and Pastor Jose. At these locations you will also find updates regarding Trinity’s response to the virus. If you are reading this you obviously already know of trinityef.org, so here are the links to the other two web locations:

If you are not registered and would like to be, please e-mail the church office at office@trinityef.org and request an invitation.

Dear Trinity Family and Friends, (04/07/20)
The last update we gave said that we were going to cancel services and office hours until April 6th. The reason for the date is that it was the original end to the initial stay at home order. April 6th has arrived, and we find ourselves still under the stay at home order through at least May 1st. In order to comply with the governor and for the health and safety of our Trinity family, we are going to remain closed at our physical location through at least May 1st. We are still meeting virtually as a body. You can find our Sunday service online via the church website, Youtube(search Trinity Church Amherst) or through the Trinity Evangelical Free Church tab on RightNowMedia. Pastor Chris has been posting a couple of video devotionals per week to those platforms as well. In addition to that, Pastor Chris, Pastor Vern, and Pastor Jose are partnering to provide a written devotional every weekday. These are available on the church website. Moving forward, we will be implementing the use of technology such as Zoom video conferencing for the Monday night prayer meeting, staff meetings, men’s and women’s Bible studies, as well as our Wednesday night youth program(180) in addition to potential uses for children’s ministry and others. If you need assistance in how to access this tool, we will be glad to assist you in any way that we are able in order to help you stay connected to the church family during this difficult time. Our Good Friday service will be available on all these platforms Friday evening as well as our Easter Sunday service this Sunday. We trust that even though we cannot meet together physically to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ that we will be doing so both virtually/online and in Spirit! We are praying for all of you and have divided the current directory up among the Elders and Pastoral staff. This means that each of you will have either an Elder or Pastor who will be contacting you or has already contacted you this week and will keep in touch with you moving throughout the duration of the stay at home order. Remember as always, you are loved!
In Christ,
Pastor Chris and the Elders
