We Are Worshiping INDOORS!
Please read about the protocol in place for our Sunday morning services INDOORS.
In order to safely facilitate meeting indoors, we are asking people to maintain social distancing, wear face masks and not linger indoors before or after the services. Both services are identical including worship music. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are aiming to keep the attendance at both services in the range of 90-120 people. This is in order to adequately maintain social distance in the sanctuary.
The protocols that we have put in place are for everyone’s safety and we would like you to be aware of them.
Face Coverings – In order to comply with the governor’s mandate, face coverings are required to be worn while in the building for services. This is of particular importance when people are up and moving around or singing.
Entrances – All entrance doors will be propped open as temperature allows to prevent the need for any members of the congregation to touch door handles, etc. when entering and exiting the building and worship center. Upon entering the building, we ask that all congregants make their way immediately into the worship center and find their seats in order to limit the amount of people moving around in the lobby at one time.
Dismissal – Dismissal of church services will be done by sections of the worship center with those sitting near the rear of the worship center dismissed first so as not to have people passing by unnecessarily. When you have been dismissed from the service, we ask that you proceed directly out to your cars. This is to ensure that we have enough time between services to follow and complete all cleaning protocols before the next service arrives.
–Bulletins and communion elements will be set up on tables in the lobby. Please pick one up upon entering. At the back of the Worship Center there will also be a box at each of the doors for offering. We will not be passing any plates, etc.
–There will be no greeting time. Please refrain from shaking hands, etc. as it may make others uncomfortable regardless of your own personal view.
-There will be no coffee available
–Children’s ministry is only offered at th 10:45am service for K – 5th grades. At this time we are NOT able to offer care for our little ones, Nursery, Toddler and Pre-K, but we are currently working on a plan to safely care for them.
–Services will last no longer than 1 hour. This provides ample time between services to disinfect and clean high touch areas such as doorknobs, bathrooms, etc.
–We will be using the green chairs. There will be a set number set up in the sanctuary. Families are permitted to sit together, otherwise we will maintain all social distancing guidelines and sit 6 feet apart. When the service is over, we will clear out the chairs that were used during the first service and set up another set of chairs for the second service. This ensures that no one will be sitting in a chair that was already used in the previous service.
We will continue to monitor and adjust our protocols as new information is available on the safest possible practices for meeting together to worship our Lord. We will continue to offer the online version of our service, through Live Streaming, as well for those who do not feel comfortable worshipping in person. Thank you for your perseverance and patience during this difficult season. We are praying for all of you and covet your prayers as we continue to seek the safest possible manner in which to continue to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ together.
In Christ,
Trinity Staff and Elders
